Ok so I am reminding you about the shoot and this email has what you should bring and do.

So the shoot is this Saturday, August 22nd 2009 at 8pm

It's an indoor shoot and we are doing it at Alba's house,



The Suits - Robb, Roberto, Jason, Matt & Jewel - I need you guys to remember to bring your suit and/or office wear. Bring dress shoes to match the suit. Don't worry about your hair or make up, it won't be seen.

I do have to let you guys know that, though the apartment has A/C, under the lights you will be molting. So try not to wear a winter suit and I will try my best to give you guys breaks to breathe and cool off.  Also I will try to have the fan pointed right at your heads if I can. This shot includes papers being on the floor so using a fan may or may not be possible.

Matt, you've got the longest hair of the bunch and I need to have your hair tied back. You'll be thankful later for it anyway with the heat.

Jewel, if you planning on wearing a skirt, remember to shave your legs. Also if you are coming from your house, be aware the 2 train isn't running between your stop and 180th, you have to catch a shuttle bus from your stop to 180th. So plan ahead love.

Jason, besides Tara you have the most important role. You are basically president. You are the one who made the decision to have this woman suffer in the way she does. You are representative of the corrupt government system. Remember to bring your shoes.

Hamburglar Rob - Please bring your camera, the one that takes a zillion pictures at once, pretty please.. =0.)

Tara - You've got the most important role in this photo shoot. I was trying not to make it gory, but it seems as though it's heading that way. I guess it will make the shot more visual, you'll understand more once you get on set.

You are also going to be getting the most workout of everyone. Crunches, that's basically going to be your workout because of the position you'll be in. I will try to make you as comfortable as possible and we'll be taking breaks.  Remember to bring or wear the black thong. Shave your legs and put lotion.
You'll be barefoot, please wear sandals to the shoot. Avoid socks as this will put creases in your feet and ankles. Also if you want to paint your toes that's entirely up to you. 
As far as your hair goes, let it stay wild, I don't intend on your face being shown, but if for some reason, your head needs to be in the shot, then we could use your hair to block your face.  As far as make up, light make up will do. =0.)

Ruthie, I don't know if you would still like to be involved in this, I haven't heard from you and I miss you lady. Feel like it's been forever since I have seen you. So let me know. I don't really need a make up artist, but I need a set photographer, are you down chickie? let me know..

Alba, you are helping me with lights and with lighting like what we are going to be doing for Janey's shoot.

Jenn, you are my assistant. I will need you to open the door for people downstairs and maybe get them from the train station if you know them. I will need you to help with the lights when possible and/ or lighting. I need you to have everyone sign their forms like for Project Bitch and if Ruthie decides not to, if you can, please be our set photographer. =0.)


Other than that, there's not much else I need to tell you guys to do. The fashion and the shot are such that it's relatively easy and most of the burden falls on me to be prepared.

hello everyone,

So the Photo shoot is this Saturday, July 11th, 2009 at 3pm.

The Meeting Place is: The Fountain by New York State Court Systems on Lafayette & Centre Streets.

Directions:
By Train: You can take the 4,5, or 6 trains to Brooklyn Bridge City Hall and walk north on Centre Street (away from city hall- it should be behind you, to your left).

You can also take the N, R, or 6 train to Canal Street. Walk down Canal Street until you get to Centre (pearl paint should be behind you, Starbucks will be on the corner of Centre Street to your left) , make a right on Centre (away from Starbucks) and walk down. You can't miss the fountain it's in the middle of open air.

The shoot will no exceed passed sunset and also if it's overcast or light rain, the shoot will still be on. If it's raining or thunder, etc. I will reschedule it.

So if anyone would rather just meet up with us there you can. You can take the 6 train to 33rd Street and walk up to 34th street, make a right and look for the place.


Alba & Kelvin: you both are spending the evening at Robb's house so we'll all leave together. We will be leaving the house no later than 12:30pm. I am treating you guys to brunch or lunch or whatever it is.. lol..

Jewel: You will be meeting up with us via train so we'll all travel together so I could also treat you to lunch or brunch. =0.)



ASSISTANTS:

Robbie: After brunch, you, Kelvin & Jay will get bottles of water (#10) as well as a packet of white v-neck shirts for kelvin from kmart. I want him to have extra in case he sweats through them.  Remind me to give you money for all of it.  Also during the shoot I need you to help me with the reflector and lighting and the step stool.

Jenn: You are going to be in charge of giving the models water when they need it. You will also be in charge of having the models sign the contracts. Please have them do this prior to us shooting because it's very important that we have those signatures. And when Robb is not available I need you to hold the reflector and/or the step stool.

Hamburglar Rob: You already know what you have to do. If Liz would like to come watch, she is more than welcome. Call both Robb & Jenn, either one of them should be able to help you find us. (Also I am going to attach a map of the locations).

MAKE UP:

Pamela & Ruthie: I need you both toe be there on time. Us girls, me, jewel and alba will be cabbing it to the location so they could get their make up done. Ruthie will have final say as to how the make up should be applied. So Pammie any questions, ask Ruthie or myself.

Hairstyle:
In terms of hairstyles, Alba's hair needs to be pinned back into a bun. She'll be wearing a funeral hat.
Jewel's hair could be semi-up/semi-down. Just make sure her hair is out of her face. She'll be wearing a headband (I think).
Make-up:
For Alba: Not too much make up on her eyes, but definitely some to make them stand out a little. I have red lipstick that I want her to use (mac red). She will also be wearing faux eyelashes.
For Jewel: I want heavy on her eyes to accentuate the green in her eyes. Bold & Edgy. Her lips will stay pale. I will ask her to bring her own lipgloss. Jewel will also be wearing faux eyelashes.

I am also going to ask the ladies to bring their own foundation if they have it, but if you have foundation, please bring what you have, just in case.

So basic overall look for the ladies is bold, edgy & very couture.  So black and white or grey for the eye make up, red lips for alba and pale lips for Jewel. They are both playing off each other with colors. Red & Green are the main colors along with black.

Pamela: Since Ruthie has prior engagements and will be leaving right after the make up is done, I need you to be ready to hand tissues to the models so they could wipe their sweat and you will be in charge of touch up. So if you see their lips are dry or their blush is practically gone, just stop me and we will re-touch. Also please pack up your wrap around mirror for me. Thank you hun.



MODELS:


Kelvin: The color motif is red, green, black and white, possibly blue.

I need you to wear jeans and sneaks to match a plain white v-neck. Do wear your studded belt.
Don't worry about your facial hair or mr. finky, we'll take care of that at robb's house on Friday night. We'll buzz you down to a 5 o'clock and we'll discuss mr. finky's life span then as well.
 
Character: The kind of character you are portraying is a man. A man who feels justified in his acts and doesn't feel his actions are wrong nor could they ever be.

There's a lot of underlying sexuality and sensuality to all these pictures. A lot of animal behavior, raw and aggressive. Like rough sex but the kind where there is love between the two persons. And the shot where you are with the two girls, you love these girls like dogs, so you don't feel disloyal or unfaithful by "owning" both of them. Same as how people who own 2 or 3 dogs don't feel they're being disloyal to their first dog.



Alba: I need you to remember to bring the black booties, the short gloves and the funeral hats when you come over on Friday night. Also remember to bring a pair of comfy flip flops and if you have it, bring your foundation for make up. If you don't have one, I am sure Ruthie or Pam have a type of foundation that could match your skin. 
Also if you can, please bring your large hand mirror in your bathroom, we are going to need an extra mirror since we are doing make up outdoors.

On Friday night, I need  you to shave your legs and your underarms. I know you'll be at the house, but make sure you get your beauty sleep. I don't want you to have puffy eyes or to be sleepy during the shoot. We'll be getting up around 10:30-11am to make sure you at least get 8hrs of sleep.

Character: The character you are portraying is a woman. A fiesty one at that. you want to do everything your "master" wants you to do but you're defiant. you want to make him happy but you also want to make yourself happy. So while you do as he asks, there's an air of defiance like you are better than this, but you love him.

Bijoux: On Friday night, I need  you to shave your legs and your underarms. Wear comfortable fitting underwear and a not so tight fitting bra that way you don't leave any bra strap marks on your shoulders. On Saturday, you'll meet up with us via train the way you and I always do so we could go have brunch on me.
Also remember to bring a pair of comfy flip flops and if you have it, bring your foundation for make up. If you don't have one, I am sure Ruthie or Pam have a type of foundation that could match your skin. 
I also need you to bring lip gloss or a light lipstick.
Don't wear any make up, come as a blank canvas.

We are going to be changing at the place where we are having brunch and from there we'll catch a cab to the meeting place. There we'll get the make up done.

Character: The character you are portraying is the other woman. You are defiantly happy, smirky and proud. Alba is the old dog. You're bright, fresh and lively.

Hey Guys, so we're on for Friday at 6pm.


My friend Rob has graciously agreed to let us shoot on the rooftop of his apartment building where he lives. Thank you Rob. =0.)

I need everyone to be there on time or as close to it as possible because we are using natural lighting, therefore we only have 1 and a half hrs to 2 hrs tops!

Weather: If it's pouring rain on Friday, the shoot will be rescheduled. If it's light rain or an overcast, we're still on.

If you want to call me on that day to be sure, you can. I will be in the city running errands for the shoot.

First Warning: When we're on the rooftop, DO NOT TOUCH the ledges. They have electricity running through them to shock birds away or to kill them, I'm not sure which. You'll know which ledge to stay away from because it'll have two parallel running tracks. But in general, just stay away for your own safety.

Second Warning: Due to the nature of this photo shoot, someone looking down at our shoot might actually think it's a real gun shooting. The cops may be called. I am going to try everything in my power to prevent this by notifying the nearby precincts, posting signs and setting up lights, etc. to make it look as much like a photo shoot as possible. I just wanted to give you all the heads up.

Ok, now onto duties....

Bryan, Please shave on Friday before the shoot. If you are off and don't have to work, you can come in your outfit if you choose to, but there are public bathrooms in the building. I have bought rings and I am crossing my fingers they fit well, but I got them in big sizes so if it's big on you, that's ok, we could work around that. Also, make sure your hair is neat, Ruthie will be on set to help you with that, but make it neat like you were going to a special occasion.. =0.)
So, bring your outfit and shoes, shave on Friday and make sure your hair is neat.


David (who I am going to be calling from here on out Topper because we have a Dave on set), I know you have work on Friday morning so if you could shave that morning, awesome. If you feel your time will be restricted, then try to do it late the night before. Please try to pack up your suit nicely and bring it with you. There are bathrooms in the building for you to change in.  Also if you would like to bring J, you are more than welcome, however be forewarned, that if he comes, I may put him to work too.. lol.. Now I have bought the rings and I hope they will fit. I got the largest sizes they had and I am hoping it will either fit you right or big because big we can fluff, small we cannot. Make sure your hair is neat, Ruthie will on set to help.
So, bring your suit and shoes, shave on Friday morning or Thursday late evening and make sure your hair is neat.


Robbie, Tomorrow I will buy your black button down shirt and if it fits, great. If not, Friday I can go and exchange the size.  Remember to bring or wear your black pants with a black belt and your shoes. Also you already know to buzz your facial hair to a 5 o'clock shadow. Can you buzz your hair too? Make it a little neater?

Ruthie, You'll be in charge of make up and hair. I will bring some hairspray, we need to make sure their hair stay neat and in place. And in case I forget, can you bring a couple of pins? I am going to buy two white roses to pin to the guys.  I will also need your help with the reflectors. =0.)

Dave, my 1st AD, you already know what needs to be done. I will be blocking the shot before taking it. Please make sure Robb brings down his hand between shots and I would like you to hold it for him during blocking. Do you have Friday off?


Hamburglar Rob, I am putting you in charge of two things. Please assist and direct anyone on where to go in your building, therefore where is the bathroom? where is the elevator? etc. And you've already said you wanted to take pictures which is great, but please remember to turn off your flash and naturally not get in the way, which I am sure you won't, but Alba once did that to me and she totally got in the way even though I yelled at her to get out.. lol..

Bijoux, I was hoping you and I could meet at around 1 or 2pm. Maybe by west farms sq on the 2 train. I will need to get last minute items and make my way around to the nearby precincts if you would be so kind as to accompany me. Also I will need your help putting up signs that we're conducting a photo shoot and another important job I have for you is to be on the lookout for the police. I will explain more when I see you on Friday.. lol..
